This depends on whether we can get fresh food from a grocery store or if we have to forage from the local town. We have been known to rent a car and drive long distances to a Costco or grocery store.

The local food is usually great and we have a large refrigerator and freezer. Every trip back to the boat from the USA can usually find Fiona’s bag overflowing with protein powders and electrolytes.
